Tara and Richard’s Ghost Ranch wedding was as lovely as if Georgia O’Keefe had painted the scene herself. Tara’s daughter walked her down the aisle to where Tara and Richard took their vows on a mesa top surrounded by the closest friends and family, and the raw New Mexican landscape. The day was peppered with special touches, including their wedding date, which is shared by Tara’s grandfather and grandmother who had been married for 59 years before she recently passed.
After the ceremony, we ran around Ghost Ranch taking couples photos and enjoying the landscape. Later, they celebrated their marriage with a dinner reception at the lovely Abiquiu Inn. They ended the evening by driving off into the New Mexican night with the rising moon above in their rented mustang. Their day was as simple and perfect as they had hoped it would be.
