Durango wedding photography -
The snow fell heavier and faster as I packed up my camera gear for the day to come. It was Becky and Karl’s wedding day and it could not have been more beautiful outside. The fat flakes kept coming, gently floating down from a white sky. Arriving at Vallecito Lake from Durango was like entering a snow globe. Everything was perfect, the lake was iced over and gorgeously white, the snow was deep and fresh, and the wedding was just getting going. Becky looked stunning in a white gown and red shawl to keep warm. Karl was beaming in a new suit and their dog, Porter was having the time of his life romping around in the snow.
After the vows, we did a quick couples session, keeping it short so they wouldn’t freeze, and then we headed inside for dinner and dancing. The evening was pure joy and love for these two happy lovers!
